COPY EDITING
Two copy-editing services are offered: Final
Proof – For pieces already edited,
get a thorough, outsider’s look before going to print. Final Proof corrects
major spelling, punctuation, grammar and capitalization errors.
The service keeps major errors that might have gotten overlooked
in self-editing or earlier editing from hurting your publication’s
impact. Final Proof is $20 per 10 double-spaced typed pages. Full
Edit – When
a piece needs complete editing attention from start to finish,
BZ & Associates is there for you. We
will correct word use mistakes, sentence structure problems and
awkward phrasing, as well as spelling, punctuation, grammar and
capitalization. We will rewrite where needed, without altering
any of the meaning. Full Edit is $35 per 10 double-spaced typed
pages. GHOSTWRITING
Have a story to tell, but aren’t a writer?
We will handle the process for you from start to finish. We
will interview you
and others needed for the book, transcribe the taped recordings,
put your words into an easy-to-read format, do the editing, and
produce your book for you. We will give you a product on which
you will be proud to put your name. And the best part is you have
complete control over which services are performed. Ghostwriting
services are $35 per hour. TRANSCRIBING
Do you work better writing out your thoughts rather than typing
them on a computer screen? As long as your penmanship is legible,
we can transcribe your work for you. If you choose, you can then
edit your work on-screen or have us do it for you. We will provide
you with a finished work ready for print. Transcribing is $20 per
10 loose-leaf pages (front and back of loose-leaf page are two
pages) Combine transcribing with Full Edit and get a discounted
rate of $40 per 10 loose-leaf pages. BILLING
All services can be billed through your Eagle
Book Bindery contract. We will give you an estimate on costs
before the work ever begins,
and you can always write a “not to exceed” amount into
any contract. DELIVERY
Most services completed within three to four weeks of contract
approval. Expedited services are available for an additional
fee of $10 per 10 pages ($10 per hour for ghostwriting). GETTING A QUOTE
