General Information

If your manuscript is already in a digital form such as Microsoft Word or InDesign file, the best way for us to begin a quotation is for you to attach the file to an e-mail with the size and quantity of books you are considering. Our e-mail address is sales@eaglebookbindery.com. If your data isn’t in a digital form, we provide manuscript input service and will be happy to provide you with a quote. If your cover is already designed, please attached the files with an e-mail. If you need help with your cover design, we will be happy to assist.

After we examine the manuscript and cover materials and determine the quantity and size of books you want, we will furnish you a price to manufacture your books and an approximate time for delivery. Upon acceptance of our quote, we will produce a proof and send it to you. Any errors or changes should be reported to us so we can make the necessary changes and begin manufacturing your books.

Payment Schedule

All optional services must be paid prior to the start of the service. Upon approval of the proof, 50% down payment must be made prior to start of the manufacturing of your books. Prior to shipment, the remaining balance must be satisfied.

Bookstore Website

If you would like us to put your book on our bookstore website, you can ask for only partial shipment of your books and we will keep the remaining books here to fulfill orders that come in to our bookstore website. You select the price you want us to put on your book and at the end of each month, we will send you a check for the books that sold. We do not take any commission for placing your books on our site or fulfilling the order. We do collect a slight fee from the party purchasing your book to cover postage and packaging of the book. If at any time you would like the unsold books shipped to you, we will be happy to do so. At that time your book will be taken off the bookstore website. The bookstore website is a free and separate service of Eagle Book Bindery and it may be discontinued at any time. If the bookstore website was discontinued, the remaining balance of each customer's books would be shipped back to the customer. Eagle Book Bindery is not obligated to place any customer's book on the bookstore website and may discontinue selling a book or books at its discretion. However, we expect to operate the bookstore well into the future and anticipate the volume of books to grow substantially.

Author/Publisher Agreement
I. The Author hereby represents and warrants to the Publisher that:
     A. The Work is free and clear of any counts of libel, plagiarism, breach of privacy or misrepresentation of facts.
     B. The Work does not infringe upon any copyright or proprietary right, common law or statutory law, and does not contain any material of libelous nature.
     C. The Work does not contain material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, pornographic, indecent, lewd, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
     D. The Author is the sole owner of the work with full power to enter into this contract.
     E. The Author releases Publisher from any responsibilities relating to any legal actions incurred by the contents of the Work or the Author.
     F. The Author shall retain full rights to the work.

II. Eagle Book Bindery Logo and Address
     A. If the book is to be placed on the bookstore website, the author shall permit Eagle Book Bindery to print its logo, name and web address at the bottom of the back of the Title Page.
     B. If the book is to be placed on the bookstore website, the author shall permit Eagle Book Bindery to print its logo and name on the back of the cover.
